Goodman has become one of the largest manufacturers of residential and light commercial air conditioning, heating, and indoor air quality products and systems by focusing on just one thing—building the most reliable and refreshingly affordable indoor comfort products in the market. Goodman is based in Houston and is part of Daikin Group. Based in Osaka, Japan, Daikin is the world's largest heating, ventilation and air conditioning company.
Goodman is designing and constructing a state-of-the-art air conditioning engineering, manufacturing, testing, and logistics facility at U.S. 290 and Kermier Rd. near Waller. When complete this Cypress Creek Campus building will encompass 4 million square feet. The perimeter of this vast structure will exceed 2 miles in length.
The building will be what is called tilt-wall construction where the concrete walls are actually poured on-site and ''tilted'' up into place. The means Goodman won't have to transport massive wall slabs on local roads. According to the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, the Goodman building will be the largest tilt-wall building in the world.
Goodman products are sold through a nationwide network of air conditioning dealers.
Located on U.S. 290 near Waller, Texas. Take the Kermier Rd. exit whether travelling east or west and proceed north approximately 1 mile.
A Chamber of Commerce is a local organization made up of businesses, professionals, and community leaders who work together to support and grow the local economy. Think of it as a business network and community leadership group focused on making a city or region a better place to do business.
Many local chambers are independent nonprofits, while some also connect with larger groups like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Most chambers focus on four main areas:
Chambers bring business owners together through:
Networking events
Business mixers
Ribbon cuttings
Community events
Lunch-and-learns
These events help businesses build relationships and referrals.
Chambers help members get visibility by:
Promoting new businesses
Sharing member news on social media
Hosting grand openings and ribbon cuttings
Listing businesses in directories
Referring customers to members
Chambers often work with city leaders and organizations to:
Attract new businesses
Improve local economic growth
Support tourism and events
Advocate for infrastructure and quality-of-life improvements
Chambers can represent business interests by:
Speaking with local government
Supporting business-friendly policies
Providing a collective voice for the business community
Businesses usually join because it helps them:
⭐ Get more customers – referrals from the chamber and other members
⭐ Build relationships – meet other local business leaders
⭐ Gain credibility – membership signals trust and community involvement
⭐ Market their business – events, listings, sponsorships, and promotions
⭐ Stay informed – updates on local issues, development, and opportunities
A Chamber of Commerce is basically:
A business network + marketing platform + community leadership group.
It connects businesses to each other and to the community.
