The Chamber is the organization that unfies the public spirit of the community and brings people and businesses together to do important and meaningful projects for the local economy. The Chamber is successful because of the many MEMBERS and VOLUNTEERS that participate year after year.
As a small business owner, you may feel that your voice is too small to be heard. But as a member of the Waller Area Chamber of Commerce, you can have your voice heard at the local, state, and national levels.
Networking Luncheons - 3rd Wednesday of most months we meet at St. John's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, located at 1613 Key Street at 11:30 for a time of networking, learning, eating and general fun. Cost of the catered meal is $20.00.
Forums - especially during elections we host Forums for our membership and community to meet the candidates or meet with our Elected Officials. These are great opportunities to speak with our representatives one on one.
Bingo - we host Bingo 4 times a year to fund our Scholarship Program. We give 3000.00 in cash prizes donated by sponsors and all the proceeds go to provide scholarships for graduating Seniors that have an affiliation to the Chamber.

A Chamber of Commerce is a local organization made up of businesses, professionals, and community leaders who work together to support and grow the local economy. Think of it as a business network and community leadership group focused on making a city or region a better place to do business.
Many local chambers are independent nonprofits, while some also connect with larger groups like the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Most chambers focus on four main areas:
Chambers bring business owners together through:
Networking events
Business mixers
Ribbon cuttings
Community events
Lunch-and-learns
These events help businesses build relationships and referrals.
Chambers help members get visibility by:
Promoting new businesses
Sharing member news on social media
Hosting grand openings and ribbon cuttings
Listing businesses in directories
Referring customers to members
Chambers often work with city leaders and organizations to:
Attract new businesses
Improve local economic growth
Support tourism and events
Advocate for infrastructure and quality-of-life improvements
Chambers can represent business interests by:
Speaking with local government
Supporting business-friendly policies
Providing a collective voice for the business community
Businesses usually join because it helps them:
⭐ Get more customers – referrals from the chamber and other members
⭐ Build relationships – meet other local business leaders
⭐ Gain credibility – membership signals trust and community involvement
⭐ Market their business – events, listings, sponsorships, and promotions
⭐ Stay informed – updates on local issues, development, and opportunities
A Chamber of Commerce is basically:
A business network + marketing platform + community leadership group.
It connects businesses to each other and to the community.
